Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Southern Maine Swim Academy, LLC (SMSA), for your swim instructions. Please carefully read the terms and conditions outlined below.
Instructors/Assistants. All swim lessons will be provided by a certified water safety instructor under the Red Cross. Swim instructor assistants will be certified lifeguards.
Limitation of Liability. There are inherent risks associated with swimming and being in the water. All swimmers and parents/guardians participate in swim lessons and enter the pool area at their own risk. I release and hold harmless SMSA, LLC, its owners, operators, and instructors from any liability, claims, and causes of action, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury – including death – that may be sustained by the swimmer or myself while in or upon the premises under the control and supervision of SMSA, LLC.
Parents & Guardians. A parent/guardian must accompany their child into the pool area and remain on the premises during the entire duration of the swim lesson.
Payment. Payments for swim lessons must be made in advance of a scheduled lesson. Payments shall be made via PayPal at: www.southernmaineswimacademy.com.
Late Arrivals. Swim lessons will be scheduled for a specific time during the day. Any client that is late for a swim lesson will only be taught for the remainder of the agreed upon lesson time.
No Show. Any client that does not show up for a scheduled private swim lesson will still be charged for the swim lesson.
Cancellations & Refunds. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled private swim lesson or 48 hours before the start of a new session in order to receive a credit or refund. Inclement weather will not be grounds for a refund.
Prepaid Private Lessons. Any unused prepaid swim lessons will expire by Labor Day of the current season.
